Nirvana Indian Cuisine

Nirvana is an Indian testaurant in Uptown New Orleans. It offers many gluten-free options - curries, tandoori kabobs, biryani, vegetarian dishes. The appetizers almost all have some gluten except the pappadams served with two sauces which are tasty. There are some gluten-free desserts as well - kulfi and rice pudding. Both beer and wine are offered. It’s better to go here for weekday evenings when you are served individual dishes. Food is served buffet style for lunch and on Sunday evenings which may result in some gluten cross-contamination. The food, service, and music are lovely.

Most things are naturally gluten free. Amazing food, great service. Check on the dinner buffet also!

They do not have a gluten free menu but don't really need one as the staff is very knowledgeable. Most menu items are naturally gluten free. And as a vegetarian, I had many choices. The wait staff is attentive and the food is delicious! I wish I had more time in NOLA, would definitely visit again.
