Very few gluten free options — they don’t even have corn tortillas for their multiple taco options. Most chicken dishes are already breaded and can’t be made safely. Surprised that people have rated them so highly and pretty disappointed since this seemed to be one of the few safe places to eat. Only options seem to be french fries, burger, or salad but the cashier taking orders didn’t even seem to know.

Sadly my daughter with celiac got glutened here as the food that came out was not marked for “allergy.” We had 2 orders of tacos, both with corn tortillas, and when we asked the staff to clarify which ones were for those with the gluten allergy, they told us the wrong ones. She was sick within 15 minutes. Manager assured me they would make changes to assure this wouldn’t happen again. Corn salad and fries were also good and gluten free. Lots of GF options on the menu, they just seem to be so busy that maybe attention to food safety details fell short.

I think we ate here for at least one meal our entire stay. GF buns for lobster roll, burger, tacos can be made GF, and they ask about allergies/ make a specific gluten and celiac designation. Other options marked on the menu too!

So convenient if you’re staying at the island inn, but there’s also a free shuttle to/from the Oak Bluffs steamship authority if you’re in town.

Update 2022: The GF options are not what they once were! Mostly sides and salads. I miss the GF fried chicken!

Previous review: Nomans to the rescue! This place is the bomb and we visited THREE times during our 2020 Vineyard Vacation. The chicken fingers (can I get a hallelujah for GF chicken fingers?!) were delicious and fries were great too! Lots of GF options, great atmosphere, amazing RUM. What’s not to love?!

Ate there several times while on the island, the food was phenomenal and my wife agreed who ordered non-gf items. Can't wait to go back again!

Update: unfortunately they changed some items up, so the GF portion of the menu has shrunken considerably to some salads and then fries. Was really looking forward to their fried chicken but called to double check and it's no longer gluten free.

We love it here. There aren’t lots of GF options, but the ones they have are good! Burgers, lobster roll, salad, Açaí bowls. I actually usually hate GF buns but the burgers and buns here are great. And the fries are so good! Also they make really good cocktails ;)

This used to be our favorite GF spot on island. Then they changed chef/menu and it went way downhill. They no long offer GF fried chicken or chicken tenders. And my non gf family said the new chicken sandwich was not nearly as good as the old GF buttermilk version. So sad when a good GF place goes downhill. Given them 3 stars for dedicated fryer and ambiance

My 5 year old Celiac had a great meal: he got the cheeseburger with a GF bun. He ended up eating the burger without the bun. He LOVED the French fries (dedicated fryer). Non Gf food was pretty good too. Great atmosphere with outdoor games and live music.

They no longer have gf chicken but do have a separate fryer for fries. Limited menu for sandwiches the hummus wrap is premade so they can’t make it gf. Fun place. Games and lawn seats. Fun beverages.

Wow, we went here after seeing the recommendation on this app. My son with a wheat allergy had a burger with a gf bun and the fries with no issues. The online ordering has the most extensive list of allergens listed for a restaurant to consider that I’ve ever seen. The outdoor and indoor spaces are so great for groups and kids!

Staff was knowledgeable and excellent. Gluten-free fried chicken was delicious. Dedicated fryer gave my children their first french fries that were safe in a long time.

This was an awesome place for drinks and food! They have multiple gf options and will mark food celiac when needed. They also have good drink options. Highly recommend for someone looking for a cool hangout spot at Martha’s Vineyard.

I believe they only fry chicken breaded in corn, (and French fries) so everything that goes into the fryer is completely gluten free!

I got their fried chicken tenders and they were great! I don’t know that I’ve ever been able to eat fried chicken at a restaurant since being gluten free. I only wish that they had given me more chicken tenders, as most of my takeout box was fries. Highly recommend, though!
