I eat at Noodlehead all the time and have not had an issue. Tell your server you are GF and they can modify many menu items to be GF with rice noodles and a different sauce.

It says on here that they have a GF menu and they do not. You have to tell your server that you need GF so you are sure to get rice noodles. They do not have GF soy sauce which is tough to navigate as they have a limited menu. I LOVE their food and I didn’t get sick but I woke up the next day looking like I had an allergic reaction (e.g. inflammation in my hands and face). I wish they would get a GF menu and GF soy sauce.

I’m sorry to hear about other reviewers’ bad experiences here. I have not had any issues here yet, and have eaten here several times. The staff always seems knowledgeable and confident that they can take care of my allergy. The fryer is shared.

Told them I was celiac, they assured me my order was gluten free, I’m halfway through the meal when the waitress comes back and tells me they accidentally served me the wrong dish and that I’m eating straight gluten noodles. They were blaming it on the food runner. Maybe also an issue of there being one waitress for an entire indoor and outdoor area- they’re trying to move through tables as opposed to actually taking care of the clients. Super upsetting and can’t wait to be sick all night on the eve of my Taylor Swift concert 🤟🏻

Do not eat here if you have celiac. I have gone probably 10 times and been fine. The last time I went the noodles looked different but they assured me they were “definitely gluten free”. They were all gluten noodles because I was throwing up all night and was in so much pain. Left my number for the manager to call and I never received a call. I went tonight to try it again because I went so many times before and thought it may have been a fluke last time, and I am throwing up again tonight. There are other Thai places that take celiac seriously, even when they are busy.

I LOVE this place. All of the servers are knowledgable about the menu and most things can be made gluten free. I go here often and have not had any issues. They will do noodle substitutions to make sure your food is gluten free. Excellent food. Excellent service. One of my favorite dinner spots in Pittsburgh

Such a normal experience. I found what I liked, asked the server if there was a gluten free option for it, he said yes, and BAM! Super knowledgeable, very kind, and SO EASY! He said there were multiple GF options but I just happen to pick one of my first try.

Noodlehead is awesome about gluten free! They can make dishes gluten free upon request. I have had their pad thai and their green curry with rice noodles and I’ve never gotten sick!

The food is absolutely delicious, but I am pretty sure I experienced celiac symptoms after eating here. While I can't be positive, I'm pretty sure.

Super fast service, we got there before the line. A lot of options were gluten free. I was a bit underwhelmed with the complexities of the flavors for the pad Thai. I recommend getting more spice to compensate. I'd be really bummed if I hadn't.
May 3, 2019. Very knowledgeable about gluten and Celiac's. The server that took my order told me that on most dishes that had egg noodles I could substitute rice noodles at no charge due to my allergy. Unfortunately, my dish came out and as I ate my way through it I found egg noodles on the bottom. I told the server who apologized and offered to have another meal made for me. The damage was already done and I was sick before we left the restaurant. I'm sure that if I had ordered something that was naturally GF (like the Pad Thai), I would have been safe. Beware.

So good and almost all menu is gf
Have eaten here several times now with no reaction. The waitstaff I have had each time immediately knew to point out which items were gluten free when I mentioned I had celiac and my meal has always be brought out separately so as to avoid contact with other plates. If you ask for fresh utensils/chopsticks they will bring those out as well, since otherwise they are just sitting in a holder on the table. One thing to be aware of, if you come for dinner on a Friday or Saturday there will be a hefty wait as it is a popular spot.

They made me a Celiac friendly dish and it was amazing. I didn't have a reaction and it was delicious! It was also amazing to order and have so many options!

I've been here multiple times without incident. Every waiter I've had seemed knowledgeable about what noodles/soy sauce they can substitute for certain dishes, so just ask. Delicious and pretty cheap!
