The server was accommodating and knowledgeable of the severity of celiacs. Food was delicious & was brought separately from the other meals to ensure no cross contamination.

I notified them of my allergy and so far every server I’ve had has been EXTREMELY attentive and kind. The gluten-free buns are incredible as well

You have to be very careful which items you order and you have to talk to the staff. I got sick the first time I ate here but since I have had good food and been safe!

Order appetizer that was "gluten friendly", came out accompanied with a loaf of Italian bread in the middle of the plate. Entree came out with manager, gloved and perfect. Shared frier. Just please be careful and you may be fine. We'll eat there again because it's the only place in town with some sense of GF awareness. They only serve beer and wine. NO ciders which is very disappointing for celiacs.

Last night we came here. I ordered the Reuben and the cook notified me that the roast beef was soaked in beer. I ordered it as a Rachael with turkey instead. The bun was excellent and I didn't get sick. Our waiter was good as well!

I was severely sick 2 hours after I ate here and wrote this review. Was at UPMC for 5 days!! NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY!!! I had written this review when I was driving away from the restaurant-- but had to pull over an hour later in Pittsburgh to throw up on the side of the road. Had to call an ambulance because I was so sick.

Worth the wait. Fun place to eat with friends! Many choices and gfree bread too!! Had a bison burger on gf bun and it was excellent! Substituted gf bread instead of chips for the Country Dip appetizer - which was great! Wish they would carry a gfree hard cider tho!! And their homemade cream/rootbeer sodas are not gfree - which was disappointing! Can't go wrong here tho!

I am not gf or df, but my mom is. We just had two of the best burgers of our lives. She even got to have a bun which was fantastic! The atmosphere is really cool with fun and eclectic woodwork and history. There is also a nice patio out back!

This is the second time I have gotten extremely sick after eating here. Both time I got sick after eating their GF pasta dishes. Although I have gotten a burger here before and the bun didn't make me sick. Just be extremely careful

The staff was extremely knowledgeable about safe preparation and handling of gf food. They even had an insert on their regular menu explaining which food was gf and which was gf for those with Celiac. On top of all that, the food was delicious. I had the Leroy Brown burger with apple slices for my side.

We are not from the area and took a chance based off of this site. The food was excellent and the staff was very knowledgeable about Celiac's. My fiancé is extremely sensitive to gluten and did not have any issues. It is also one of the only places I have seen that offers gluten free appetizers. I would highly recommend it to anyone with Celiac's.

Good food. Good selection. No dedicated gluten free fryer, so no homemade potato chips :(. Service is somewhat slow...
