I was really excited to try this restaurant because there aren’t many options in the area and I had heard good things from a friend with celiac. They charge $5 for gluten free pasta which is a lot, especially considering they cannot even be certain the food they’re serving is gluten free. I made the waitress and hostess aware of my allergy and the waitress told me everything I was eating was gluten free. I ordered the bucatini alla vongole and subbed in gluten free penne for the bucatini. While I was eating my penne, I pulled out noodles of bucatini meaning my gluten free pasta (after I made them aware I had celiac) was cooked in the same water/mixed directly with regular pasta. I showed the waitress and the manager came over to our table and was very apologetic (they discounted my meal and gave us free drinks while I waited for a new dinner) but I was incredibly sick for the next 2 days. The bill was still over $100 and for $5 extra to get “gluten free” pasta, they can’t even be sure the meal they’re putting out is gluten free. I wouldn’t waste your time and money.
