Not Your Average Joe's

I loved this chain, pre-celiac. I tried to go to the one in Logan Airport and looked at the menu and it had no GF options. I asked the waitress and she said all they could do was make me the mustard chicken- but make it a plain chicken breast. She was honest, but I was disappointed, as I saw some reviews that other Not Your Average Joes were better at accommodating GF. She suggested I go to B.Good instead. I went there and they had a sign up that they were out of a number of things, including GF buns. I landed on the tried but true, Legal Sea Foods. Boston, I’m disappointed!

Mustard crusted chicken is listed as a gf option, but when you order it they say it comes as just plain grilled chicken…. Making it gf requires removal of all mustard crustedness.

This is not my experience at other non-airport locations of this chain. Not sure what’s wrong with this location, but I sure was disappointed to find this out the hard way.

The gf options are only listed on the online menu, not the physical menu, and this issue with the mustard crusted chicken makes me questions whether you can trust the online menu’s gf options at all.
