I went to Nudy’s in Eagleview a week ago and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had specific gf markings for waffles and pancakes on the menu. I asked the waiter a million questions and he was very willing to go back to the kitchen and ask a bunch of questions. However, I have a wheat allergy (in addition to gluten intolerance) and therefore gf flours that are made with de-glutenized wheat, while certified gluten free, still make me sick. I was unable to get clear information about the ingredients in the pancake/waffle mixes and so my waiter actually advised me to try something else. I ended up getting the oatmeal which was totally fine and the huevos rancheros would have also been an option for me. Even though I couldn’t get clear information about the waffle/pancake ingredients, I would definitely go back. The staff was very kind and they tried their best to get answers I just happened to go during a very, very busy time and I think the kitchen staff was likely overwhelmed.
