Beautiful little shop! I spoke to the owner who gave me such a detailed explanation about each of their gluten free items. Often the flour blends are different to enhance the various flavors in the cake. Everything is made in house and they are very careful to not cross contaminate. Additionally, any of their small GF pastries can be made into a larger cake. I know where I’m going for my birthday cake this year!

A lot of choices and all sweets look marvelous. I could not decide which one to buy. The donuts have only the sharp like a donut, but the dough is more like a cookie. I post a few fotos

What an incredible experience! I couldn't believe I found this place so close to my apartment! I Googled "gluten free bakery" and had to double-take when it led me to Nutriente. The proprietor was gracious and knowledgeable. She explained how dedicated she was to making healthy confections with natural ingredients. They weren't too sweet. They were delicately made and full-flavored. And BEAUTIFUL. Vibrant colors, intriguing textures. The treats I ordered for myself--an almond butter and blueberry tart and a coconut cheesecake--were so incredibly eye-pleasing. I'm in BIG trouble. Nutriente is SO close to my place.

Price point was a bit on the high side at first glance, though no worse than getting something from the glass case at chain coffee shops. When you take a moment to realize the quality of the ingredients and the care in the look and taste of each cake, tart, and doughnut, well, you get what you pay for. Want cheap? Go to Wal-Mart. This is MUCH higher quality and one should expect to pay for it.

HUGE fan of small business, especially when they do as good a job with it as Ms. Diana does at Nutriente. Amazing.
