This spot is awesome for people who actually like good sushi. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. They don’t have a separate fryer which is the only downside but they are really cautious and I’ve never had a reaction.

I’ve been twice & had a good experience both times. They don’t have a gf menu but all the servers are extremely knowledgeable and will tell you what you can eat. They have gf soy sauce as well. I felt safe eating here & never got sick!

Great! It’s half off on Wednesday and Mondays for happy hour!

They have GF tempura but not a GF fryer. They even knew which alcohols were GF or not. Great food and strong awareness of cross contamination.

O-Ku was exceptional - the staff, the food, the restaurant decor. Oh my.

I have dinner every so often with friends who moved and dined in California. They are not celiac.

Their dinner was the best that’s have had in the last two years. I had a dinner that was better in way too long. Kayla was our wait person. Her recommends for cocktails, entrees, and deserts is unmatched. She walked us through the menu and made a point to ensure our food would marvelous. Diner was just delightful and delicious. You’ll love it. Reservations are rightly advised.

A safe place to enjoy sushi! There is a separate gluten free menu with plenty of options. In addition, the wait staff is knowledgeable about allergies and cross contamination. Enjoyed my meal here and will return.

There is an entire GF menu, the staff is knowledgeable about it, and most importantly, the food is AMAZING!!! Sometimes can be hard to find sushi places that know what you’re talking about and take it seriously – this is one of them.

Not sure if they got rid of the fryer but they don’t have a separate fryer anymore like they used to. Waitress was knowledgeable and brought out a gluten free menu but when trying to order, even the shishito peppers are fried so I couldn’t get those. Overall everything is always good but the gluten free menu isn’t all GF if you’re celiac like me and can’t have anything in the fryer.

The experience was outstanding! They take celiac and CC very seriously. The sushi here is some of the best I’ve had and a bonus- on Mon & We’d it’s half price sushi rolls! Highly recommend trying this place out!

Had the best meal and experience at dinner last night. I made reservations and noted for them I’m Celiac and must be 100% gluten free. They assured me they could prepare me a safe meal and talked me through their GF menu and the process in the kitchen. They went above and beyond to make sure my meal was prepared safely, it was delicious! The staff was amazing all around the house and made for a lovely evening. Will go back soon!

I'm very sensitive to cross contamination and eating out at a restaurant that's not totally gluten free is always a risk for me. But as it's been several weeks since I ate there I can confirm I did not get sick. Staff was very knowledgeable. They told me over the phone and at the table that the fryer was not safe. They brought over a complimentary dish and specifically said it was gluten free.

I have been here twice so far and expect to come back any time i’m craving sushi. I had the same waiter both times and he was very knowledgeable. The food is delicious, they do not have a separate fryer, so there can be cross contamination if you order something fried, but any of the fried rolls can be made not fried. I love their sushi and fried rice!

Had an amazing meal at O-ku this weekend and our waitress was very knowledgeable. Itold her I was GF and she asked if I had celiac. When I said yes her response was "no problem!" While there isn't a specific GF menu, there are many great options. I just told my waitress to surprise me and my meal was awesome!!
