Oakland Diner is usually my favorite diner to go to! I have had hit and miss meals there. Note that the fryer is shared at times and there is no dedicated area for the grill. There is also no dedicated GF toaster or panini press. The waitresses/ waiters are not super knowledgeable, but they are willing to go ask the kitchen about different ingredients and preparation when asked. I have had no difficulties with any inquiries I’ve asked and no attitudes from the staff about it. If you are not very sensitive to cross contamination (CC), Oakland Diner is a great place to go to. I usually can find items to eat at times, but be very aware of the CC risk.

The only option they show on the menu was GF chicken sausage. However, I did ask my waitress and she told me they had Udis GF bread, so I was able to enjoy toast with my eggs and sausage. My waitress was really sweet and made sure they kept my food GF! So happy I can go back to my favorite diner!
