Service and kitchen did not take Celiac/gluten allergy seriously.
I ordered the wedge, without croutons and fried shallots. The plate came out with everything on it. When the server brought out a “new” salad, I could see that the kitchen had just removed the toppings that had been on my plate, leaving behind crumbs. Had to send back again.
Additionally, I asked the server (who consulted with kitchen) all necessary questions to feel comfortable ordering the soup of the day. It seemed safe, but I was very sick later that day.
Exhausting experience.

Seeing the other reviews we decided to eat here. Yes the GF chicken ravioli is delicious and it is the only item marked GF in the menu we verified that it's cooked in separate water so totally safe.
Steaks are GF just ask about sauce or seasoning to verify salads are GF just keep the croutons off and verify the dressing, shrimp cocktail should be safe but verify the sauce. No desserts on the menu unless you want a scoop of ice cream they really should have at least a flourless chocolate cake.
Due to the price point of most items this is a $$$-$$$$ restaurant steaks were over $30 on average so be aware. The restaurant itself is very nice and if you're looking for a more upscale eatery in the mountain then this is the place. The patio is dog friendly as well but it close at 4pm when we went.

Although there was just one GF option on the menu, it was delicious and safe - the most important.

First of all I love their outdoor dining area! It’s very cute and perfect for a date night, fire pit and twinkling lights it’s gorgeous. My husband and I ate here and loved it. The meals were super tasty. The waiter knew quite a bit about which meals were entirely gluten free on their own (the mushroom and chicken ravioli), and which could be made gluten free. Was open to asking about how the chef could make it right for me. I ended up having the mushroom ravioli which was amazing, very savory and a bit rich but good, and the strawberry avocado salad which was delicious. They did put garlic bread on the same plate which was a negative but it could easily have been asked to have been removed. Will definitely return next time we are in Big Bear.
