I found the staff unhelpful and was told the bagels are he but are out into a toaster that do the regular bread so there is a huge risk of cross contamination also looked at the reviews and one poster seems to have been in every o briens i dublun on the same day with the same review of them all .

Used to be super good for gluten free but is awful now. Because of cross contamination worries they’re gluten free bread now comes in sealed plastic packet and the staff are not allowed open them or toast it. So they basically give you the sandwhich filling on a plate and packaged bread separately. Bread all falls apart when you put it together cos it’s shite quality. Soup was still gluten free but personally, I’ll never go any O’Briens again. Not worth the price.

I had a very good soup and toastie combo at O'Brien's. I asked if they could both be gluten free and the sandwich maker confirmed they could be, and asked if I was coeliac. They then changed gloves and used separate equipment to make th toastie. When it was brought out to me the staff member said gluten free which I always appreciate. Very tasty, kind staff, plenty of seating.
