Review of Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar

Ate here 5 times while staying at the hotel. Very nice staff for the most part. One lady really looked after the gluten free as some of the staff did not know the Tortilla chips weren't gluten free. Gluten free bun was very good. Check the specials board before placing your order. They make everything fresh and can accommodate. The fish tacos with blackening and fish sandwich with blackening were both bland. Dont know why as blackening is usually delicious. For some reason their salsa must not be gluten free. They left out the guacamole and salsa for a steak and cheese quesadilla. I only knew it came with it as the first time they brought it out they had the tortilla chips on it and twice they had told me those were cross contaminated in the fryer so I had to send it back. The second version of this was flat out bad as the steak was very tough. I recommended sticking to fish or chicken meals. The chicken Philly sandwich was excellent as was the sheepshead fish dinner entree. Both were specials.
