Review

We visited the cantina earlier this week for some post-dinner drinks. Most of our group had to bow out after some kiddo meltdowns, so my partner and I were seated with a group of lovely strangers. I was a little surprised we were only given a 45 minute seating in the cantina, but there were huge lines of folks waiting outside, so it makes sense they'd want to get as many folks in as possible.

Right after sitting down, our server stopped by and asked about my Celiac and drink preferences so she could make recommendations. She mentioned they could make some of their snack options GF with modifications, but since we'd just eaten, we didn't take her up on that. I think there was one drink she mentioned that wasn't GF, but I don't remember which one (maybe the petri dish one?). I ended up ordering the Jedi Mind Trick but unfortunately, we forgot to ask for them to take extra care when making my partner's Fuzzy Tauntaun drink safe for me to try also, but he said he really enjoyed it. After ordering, a manager also came over and handed me a tablet that showed all the ingredients in the drink I'd ordered, just to be super safe, and everything was indeed GF, so we went ahead with the order.

Between the 10-12 of us at the table, just about every drink was ordered, and they all looked amazing! We'd definitely go back, though maybe not so close to having just eaten a meal. I felt well-taken are of the whole time and we loved the ambiance of being in the cantina. At one point, an admiral and storm troopers came in too and interacted with guests, which was pretty fun. Definitely worth getting a reservation if you'll be at Hollywood Studios.
