Had a terrible experience here. I walked in and ordered and started off saying “I have celiac disease..” and the waitress rolled her eyes!! Like openly rolled her damn eyes like “here we go again.” Then she looked like she was ready to argue with me when I simply asked her if an omelette and home fries is gluten free and prepared safely without cross contamination. She had to ask a manager, who was ten times nicer than the miserable waitress we had. Then, she brought out our food and she had the plate of toast my boyfriend ordered on top of my food and then put it in front of me. Which, after the whole eye rolling stick she pulled, felt completely on purpose. I ate around the spot the plate was on but I already feel sick from it. I just didn’t want to deal with her stuff any longer. I just don’t understand how this place advertises gluten free and is rated well on here but then the staff acts like that. It completely made me scared and ruined the whole experience. As a celiac, it is already nerve wracking eating out at places with the fear that you might be violently ill for this week. If you do go here, ask for a manager or someone more knowledgable to take your order. No reason for the unnecessary rudeness right off the bat. Be careful eating here!
