I was nervous about eating here since they had no gluten free menus but I shouldn’t have been nervous. They were wonderful and kind and the food delicious! I started with delicious tomato basil soup and had Poached Pear Salad with grilled chicken and finished the night with the MOST delicious chocolate cheesecake. 100% I am the most sensitive celiac. They were careful and the food was perfect! I definitely want to go back!

I decided to eat at this restaurant after seeing the reviews regarding celiac. The staff was very friendly, kind, and helpful regarding my diet restriction. I shared about my concern regarding cross-contamination and the wait staff was knowledgeable and considerate of it. I ordered the gluten-free eggplant parmesan and it was delicious. Everything was cooked well, the vegetables were fresh not frozen. Gluten-free pasta was cooked well. I did not have any ill effects from it. I would visit again.

I can’t speak to the food, but they have a horribly off putting sign outside that says ‘no boosters, no highchairs, no strollers, no children etc’. As someone with a baby, this was an obvious no go. It’s not even so much that we don’t understand not wanting kids in there, but the sign is so rudely stated. We went a few doors down to a lovely place called Abalonetti that was very welcoming and had their own lovely sign welcoming kids.

Had the crab tower and it was delicious. Waiter paid attention and guided how certain menu items could be made gluten free.

I have eaten here several times when in the area. Yes, there is only one item on the menu listed gluten free. However, ask the wait staff for assistance, many of the items can be made gluten free. They are very accommodating. Crab tower is absolutely fantastic and the pasta and clams is excellent. Don’t forget the Dutch chocolate cheesecake! My mom and I are both celiac, she is extremely sensitive to cross contamination. Neither of us have had reactions here.
Yes
Only one item on the menu is gluten-free – an eggplant parmesan, which is horribly cooked GF pasta, frozen veggies, mediocre tomato sauce, and two slices of eggplant with some sort of cheese. They SAY they can make "any item" on the menu gluten-free – but it sounded like there wouldn't be much care for preventing cross-contamination, so I stuck with the only item.
We've been here in the past, before my celiac diagnosis, and the food was hit and miss. There are honestly better options out there. We decided to give them a go because of their policy on not allowing loud kids, but we were still stuck next to two families with kids blasting cartoons from their tablets and loudly complaining about waiting for their food.

We always have the best experience every time we visit this restaurant as someone with celiac disease they take extra precautions and bring out amazing food with amazing service
The waiter was very knowledgeable and said he would also verify with the chef. I had the seafood paella and the gf chocolate cheesecake. My suggestion is talk to the server about your options because menu isn't labeled gf, but there are options.
Yes
one gf pasta item no others.

This place is delightful. Our fabulous server, Giovanny, absolutely gets it when it comes to gluten and he is exceptionally personable, too. Food is some of the best we've ever had!!

This place is not kid friendly. Do NOT come here if you have a family. Young children are not allowed. They have no high chairs or booster seats. The hostess said we could not bring my 9 month old nephew inside or his stroller. I was shocked by their lack of hospitality and service. Not a good place for young celiacs in the family.

GF pasta, desert. Very taste.

Delicious meal! Had the filet and will go back for special occasions.
Does not have a separate menu, but said basically everything could be made GF. My meal was great.

I checked with the maitre d if they could do gf, and he said they could. My waiter was understanding and made sure my food was gf. I had the petit filet mignon and lobster tail with baked potato, it was so good. There is one menu item labeled gf it is a gf penne and eggplant dish. This is an expensive restaurant as others have mentioned, dress code is informal.

Excellent service - high quality food - knowledgeable about GF - on water front -
The waiter was very accommodating and said they would make any dish work for me, and they did.
Knowledgeable friendly Great Alaskan King and Dungeness crab. Amazing cream brûlée side salad was great with papaya cucumber and mango slices on bed of mixed greens

Good restaurant. A little over priced for the quality. But most of their sauces are made gluten free naturally so you can order many items on the menu. They also have a gluten free pasta.

Very accommodating and knowledgable about cross contamination. The food was so good. I had a seafood platter with risotto and it was so yummy!!

Wonderful! So many options and they cook to order. They really try and do well here. The food is delicious. If you want to go to an upscale dinner/lunch, you'll get the quality you're paying for.
This is my goto place for dinner the night before the Big Sur Marathon (trusted - safe GF). I'm highly sensitive and I have cd. Staff: all of the staff here are trained and know about gluten. Menu: order any time off regular menu, which I like because I'm not limited to select items. When I order my waiter walked through each item and telling what has gluten or doesn't. If staff is not sure they always ask. Staff is trained to ask if you can have dairy. The staff is ready and able to accommodate if can't have dairy. Staff is excellent as they provide excellent customer service (refill your drinks, check on you, etc). Food: excellent. Surf and turf was excellent (hubby) had it. When it was delivered the waiter told him the steak wine sauce was made with corn starch and plate is always gf - just in case we wanted to share. Waiter also told me when my New Zealand sea bass was delivered the lemon cheese sauce (they put it on the side) was gluten free. Everything was cooked perfectly. Fish was a good size, moist and done perfectly. Vegetables were amazing and good assortment (Brussel sprouts, baby carrots, baby broccoli and more. On top of the vegetables was a spinach risotto which was best I've ever had. I had a wonderful run along big sur highway thanks to my waiter and this place. Pre race meal as always was perfect.

Very knowledgable staff. They can make most items gluten free. They even give you a rose with the check. Food was pretty good but expensive.
