Hello Old Tymes!
I went to Old Tymes today with a group of friends and I was very sad to hear that they did not have a gluten-free menu and were not Celiac friendly. I go to Three Rivers down the road and Old Tymes would be a great place to dine if only they had a gluten free menu and procedures to guarantee no cross-contamination. Please Old Tymes, create a gluten-free menu for us people with Celiac Disease and gluten allergies.
If you do, though, please make sure that you prevent cross-contamination. This is critical in preparing gluten free food. A lot of restaurants fail in this regard. They offer gluten free food, but in preparation, the food is contaminated with gluten and then ultimately it causes problems for the people who can't eat gluten.
However, besides the lack of a gluten free menu, the service was good and the atmosphere enjoyable. All you guys need is to offer some gluten free food. Some great examples I know I enjoy are gluten free burgers, breakfast arrangements, gluten free pasta and meat sauce, and grilled chicken, just to suggest a few ideas. Udi's is a great gluten free brand.
Thank you for your time in reading this!

Very strange place! They don't have a lot of gluten free options but what made them stand out is the gluten free fried chicken. I know of every gluten free place near and far and none of them have gluten free fried chicken. It does take a little longer and sometimes the staff is not that knowledgeable about their GF chicken because the 2nd time I ordered it the waitress didnt even know they had it until she went back and talked to the cook. But it was worth it.
