Ole Time Barbecue

Staff didn't seem to know much about gluten free. I asked about their house bbq sauce and I was told to read the label. Natural flavors was listed and when I inquired what that was made of, I was told to not eat it. I ordered chopped pork and a side of beans. Everything is cooked in vinegar and it burned my throat. I had 2 bites and didn't eat anymore.

My family and I have been coming here for almost 10 years now. We’re from Pennsylvania and stop here anytime we’re near. They have a lot to choose from at a very affordable price. There are a lot of gluten free sides as well. I am a Celiac as well as a vegetarian so I got a veggie platter with 3 large portions of sides for $5.39. They mark on the menu which sides are seasoned with meat which is nice. Nothing fried is gluten free but there’s plenty else to choose from so you’re not missing out on much except the hush puppies. The atmosphere is really southern and homey/quirky and the staff is helpful and you can tell they really care about the place. Highly recommend!
