!!i had a reaction here !! there are so many better options in manhattan, kansas—don’t go here. the staff, though trying their best, aren’t given the tools to answer allergy-related questions and handle allergen-friendly food. there is no extra protocols taking, and it’s a leap of faith to assume that there is no cross contamination. there is no variety on the menu, i could only order one thing. the atmosphere is also reaction—inducing. don’t go here!!

I ordered a GF pasta option. When the server put my first plate on the table he noticed a whole wheat noodle on my plate and took it back right away. I found another whole wheat noodle on my second plate after taking a few bites.
I gave them a 2 star instead of 1 because the server and manager treated me very well. The server apologized profusely and the manager comped the bill.
No
Ordered gluten free pasta, sauce, and shrimp. Ate some of my "safe" pasta and found a gnocchi pasta in my bowl. Manager said I'd be fine because they were cooked in separate water. He obviously doesn't understand celiac. It was rolling around in my bowl contaminating my entire plate. I also had to pay full price for being glutened. The manager just simply said to call him if I got sick. IF I got sick. ugh...
You can ask for the gluten free menu, and it only has 2 different pasta dishes on it. I asked the server, and she told me that they could use that one type of gluten free pasta with any sauce or dish!!! I was able to get my favorite (before gluten intolerant) dish, with gluten free pasta for no extra charge!!! The pasta was so soft, I had no idea I was eating gluten free noodles.
The first restaurant where I had a roach hanging on to my shrimp...yuck! Management told me it was not a roach, but they did not know what it was. They only offered me another plate... of sauteed roach..no thanks.
Beware
Yes
gluten free penne with marinara is what I ordered. If you really don't want to cook and you're starving it's ok but it's pretty bland, noodles are stiff and starchy. better off with gluten free noodles from hyvee and prego sauce :)
My experience tonight at Olive Garden was excellent. The waitress was knowledgeable about my options. Then the manager came over and acknowledged that I had requested for gluten-free options and insured me that they would change gloves to maximize safety. Then a third person came over to serve food and he pointed out that it was gluten-free and that they changed their gloves when making my food. I don't have allergies, but I am sensitive to gluten. I don't know if it would be safe for celiac, but it was safe for me.

I have eaten here twice and both times it was great! The servers are knowledgeable and their menu has everything labeled well so you can see what you have to choose from! They also instantly knew and aknowledged no croutons on the salad as soon as I mentioned a gluten allergy. I do wish they had more sauce options than what was listed.
