DO NOT EAT HERE. NOT SAFE. I always ask if they cook the pasta in fresh water. The first time I ate here, they assured me that the gluten-free pasta was not cooked in the same water as the regular pasta. I got sick, but attributed it to something else. I am in the restaurant right now, and I have confirmed with the manager that the GF pasta is cooked in the same water and cookers as the regular pasta. The manager knows that this causes cross-contact and doesn't care. IT IS NOT SAFE TO EAT HERE.
Ate here with 2 celiacs. GF menu. Waiter seemed educated but not sure about kitchen. Nobody seemed to get sick. The sauces are prepared for the day and GF items just use same sauce. Would be so easy to have sauce ladle to touch Gluten pasta and contaminate the whole batch! If cannot have sauce then not much else on menu. One of my celiac children tried pasta and other tried salad. Make sure to ask questions. We will not be returning.
horrible. cold stale noodles with so little sauce and chicken that tasted like they stuck it in the microwave to heat it back up. save ur money dont bother with this olive garden
The staff were very knowledgeable and the manager came to talk to us to make sure we felt comfortable with the preparation of the food. I gave it 2 stars, however, because the options on the menu are very limited. The only thing that can be prepared celiac friendly is the gf pasta with either marinara or meat sauce.
Terrible gluten free menu. Barely any choices, and the ones you get are lacking in flavor. The staff is never knowledgeable about their gluten free menu. I have tried it a few times because my family loves the restaurant and they can eat gluten. I hate going there!
They do have a gluten free pasta, but it's only one type and you can only get the red pasta sauce to guarantee GF. The waiter told us that the meats could have cross contamination as they don't have a designated area for that. It doesn't really taste great and there are plenty of other options in the area.
I ordered the gluten-free rotini and added shrimp. It looked and tasted like some of the shrimp wasn't fully cooked. The pasta and sauce tasted like something I could make at home with a box of Barilla and Ragu. Unfortunately my server was inattentive too. I've had better experiences there in the past. I also think they used to have a larger gluten-free menu. I ended up feeling really off the next day, but I'm not 100% sure it was from this meal.
Only had 3 options, steak, salmon and GF pasta with tomato meat sauce. Our server was not careful nor did she pay attention to the fact we asked specifically for there not to be any crotons on the salad and she showed up with the crotons on the salad. Instead of offering to bring another salad I had to ask for her to bring another salad. The servers do not seem to be trained at all for GF allergies/sensitivities.
The food is typical of Olive Garden. The gluten free menu is available on its Ziosk via an allergen menu. There aren't a ton of choices; however, what's available is decent. I ordered gluten free rotini with traditional marinara. That came with Olive Garden's unlimited salad, which I ordered without croutons. I'm also happy to report that it's delicious salad dressing is also GF. No complaints here about my meal in terms of food. What didn't impress me was my server. I was seated quickly and then greeted and my drink order taken by one server who said the server who was supposed to be taking care of my table was "a little busy." That was fine until "a little busy" turned into a 35-minute wait for food, no drink refills for my party, and a general impression of aloofness. My server did apologize when I called him out on forgetting refills he said he would get, but still...not impressed.
The gluten free menu is two items, a house salad without croutons and a gluten free paste with the choice of a meat sauce or marina sauce. No gluten free appetizers of desserts. They have tons of pasta sauces but they only allow these two choices. They do not prepare gluten free dishes in a separate area so cross contamination is a very high risk
I am celiac. I have eaten at this location quite often without any problem. Always get the salad and the pasta with meat sauce. They bring the salad dressing in the to-go packets to avoid cc which is nice. They seem to really understand when I question them about preparation etc. every visit I doublecheck that the pasta is cooked in its own water and has its own strainer. They never look at me funny when I ask.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars! Apparently if a manager doesn't come to acknowledge that you have a good allergy, they didn't take you seriously. If they didn't take you seriously they use the same water and strainer = gluten pasta getting mixed in. Don't even get me started on the lack of flavor!
