The gluten-free options are limited. I ordered the gluten-free pasta along with meatballs and sausage. When the meal arrived, it only had one meatball and one two inch sausage. I asked about the portions. The server told me that the meatballs and the sausage weren't gluten-free, so they only gave me a sample to see if I could handle them. So now I know that only the salad is gluten-free and one simple pasta selection.

I have tried Olive Garden on several occassions (mostly out of gratitude for them being one of the first chains to have a GF menu but lately they have been seriously slipping) and have reached the following opinion. If you have celiac this is not the best option in the Bloomingdale area. First concern is cross contamination with their pasta, this has been a huge concern and not worth the gamble. Tried this option once several years ago and lost that gamble. So that eliminates two entrees on their menu immediately. I love steak so in the past I have opted for that option only to be disapointed with the Steak on three straight visits spaning 2 years first with no seasoning (even though they claim their seasoning is GF), second time undercooked and tough steak, and third try it was way overcooked steak (three times bad experiences and that option is out). So this latest time I decided to try their Salmon and Garlic Broccli. Broccli I had was steamed only (this may be the only GF option but that was not what was advertised in their GF Menu) and the Salmon was so dry that it was hard to choke down and not even the pesto sauce could save it. So now that all four options for me are off the table I will not go back ever again. If this is the best they can offer to those with celiac they should just advertise gluten free options but not recomended these options for those with allergens or serious health concerns. SO DISAPPOINTED... they were one of the first chain restraunts that gave GF options and instead of getting better at it they have fallen flat on their face. If I could give half a star that would still be too much.

My experience tonight at Olive Garden was excellent. The waitress was knowledgeable about my options. Then the manager came over and acknowledged that I had requested for gluten-free options and insured me that they would change gloves to maximize safety. Then a third person came over to serve food and he pointed out that it was gluten-free and that they changed their gloves when making my food. I don't have allergies, but I am sensitive to gluten. I don't know if it would be safe for celiac, but it was safe for me.

I just went to Olive Garden, stated my allergy, and then ordered Gluten Free pasta option they have, if I dont remember wrong it was Gluten Free Rotini with meat sauce. I didn’t get any reaction, (I usually get respiratory and skin reaction to gluten) and it was absolutely delicious!!!

I have eaten here twice and both times it was great! The servers are knowledgeable and their menu has everything labeled well so you can see what you have to choose from! They also instantly knew and aknowledged no croutons on the salad as soon as I mentioned a gluten allergy. I do wish they had more sauce options than what was listed.
