They gave me the wrong dessert which I didn’t realize til we got home but what I was able to eat was phenomenal. 10/10 on their baguette sammies

I love Origin! I always spend too much money here but their stuff is delicious and they have a wide variety of both sweet and savoury gluten free baked goods. Some of the products are too dry but others are great

Was expecting more from this 100% gf bakery. Super dense breads. I had a scone that was good. Prices were $$$$

The Best - 100% GF - thanks for existing. Breads vary with dietary restrictions; GF with egg/dairy is lighter/moister, while GF vegan bread is denser. The treats are wonderful; cakes, tarts, cookies, eclairs, quiche. Treats change day to day, you won’t get bored. They offer seasonal pre-orders for Yule logs and Pumpkin Pie. Loads of granola choices too. Honestly, they make our GF household sing! A variety of breads and treats daily, come early as this place has a loyal clientele.

Edited review as recently the offerings are quite minimal and the quality has decreased, while prices increased. Not somewhere we make a point of going to anymore as often they don't have much selection or items in stock even if you go in the morning.
Great gluten free baking. We tried a few different things and enjoyed all of them even my husband who doesn't need to eat gf. The eclairs were a big hit.

The apple galette was brilliant even though it was one of the day olds and had it for tea time with an Angel Water tea which is my favourite tea from Silk Road. I also got a carrot cake cupcake to take home for dessert.

I've had items from here three or four times, and it's never been worth it. Their bread is VERY dense, and their desserts quite dry. I can usually make better at home, and the customer service is terrible.
I got a gift card for Christmas and ordered a selection of eight things over a week in advance, and when I showed up at my pickup time, they only had a single one in stock. None of the other items had even been baked, and they didn't even call to let me know or offer something for the trouble! Won't be returning.

The absolute BEST for treats.
Even none GF eaters enjoyed their treats.
The breads are to die for.

Amazing to have a dedicated gf bakery! It was my birthday so we tried all 4 flavours of the cupcakes. The strawberry sponge cake was my fav, but they were all delicious!! My husband really enjoyed the chocolate ganache. Would highly recommend for celiac birthday cakes/cupcakes! They have a great selection of breads, cookies and other treats too!

I wasn't a huge fan of what I bought. I was expecting more because of the reviews. I tried the strawberry mini cake and the whipped cream on top tasted old and it was hard. The lemon-blueberry tart was really good. The Everything cookie was tasty. The vegan scone didn't taste like a scone at all. It was spongy. I bought a granola bar but haven't tried it yet. I was very underwhelmed with this bakery.

This is pretty much as good as it gets. I’ve tried gluten free bakeries in various places and this feels like the best.
It’s a proper, busy bakery with a lot of general custom so I suspect there is a chance they will run out of specific items - treat it like that to avoid disappointment.
There’s a lot of options - galletes, quiche, various types of bun, baguettes and baguette-wiches, all sorts of muffins, pies and tarts. This is exactly what I was looking for. I find some gf bakeries are more like patisseries, with very fancy and delicate. All very well, of course, but this had proper, everyday, hearty fare - if I lived here I could imagine myself going in on a daily basis for rolls or hot dog buns.
That said, the technique is still very obvious. Flaky soft crust pastry on the savoury and sweet galettes was a stand out, some of the best I’ve ever tried, extremely light.
I would give this more stars if I could as it sets a new standard.

I have bought bread there a few times while visiting from Vancouver. I discovered ( to my dismay as a vegetarian) that almost all their breads contain gelatin. There is no signage indicating this in the store.

Visiting from Ontario. 30 minute walk from our hotel downtown. Had a coffee and delicious rhubarb cream cheese muffin! We will be back before we leave!

Delicious individual bacon quiches. The cupcakes and pie was not too sweet. No public washroom.

Amazing GF multigrain sourdough bread. Might be my favorite GF bread ever. I bought extra loaves to take home.

A dedicated gluten free bakery which is wonderful. We tried the quiche which was wonderfully flavorful and you must try the ginger chocolate chew cookie. The selection can be limiting and the items are not very well labeled (the sign is not what is actually behind it) but the food is worth the trip. Just be sure to ask questions and clarify if you encounter a little language barrier. The person serving us did speak some english but didn’t know all the words we were using so you just need a little patience if you have ingredient questions. Overall I would recommend and hope to support an all gluten free business.

Fabulous all GF bakery. Perfect place for a GF afternoon tea while in Victoria. Got eclairs and pastries for tea time and baguettes for tomorrow.

Went there today around 12pm, all they had left was 4 cupcakes and some mini pies. Was disappointed in the limited selection, but the pumpkin spice latte cupcake was yummy. Nice to have fully gf bakeries, but just wish they had more selection. They are open from 7:30-5:30 but mid day had no selection.

Not sure why anyone wouldn’t be super excited about this place - it’s dedicated GF, the staff are friendly and the baked goods are great! The lemon bars in particular are amazing.

Baguette is amazing, so close to the real thing.

This bakery is certainly celiac safe but I was disappointed by the lack of vegan savoury options. I got the hazelnut scone and it was ok. They also do not have any kind of cafe set up, just drip coffee which was also disappointing.

Origin bakery is a dedicated GF facility that accommodates other sensitivities as well. Staff know the low down. For no-trace restrictions that aren't gluten, you can place special orders in advanced that are made to your unique needs. There's a variety of lovely baked goods, treats, and savory eats.

Wonderful experience for our family. We were on vacation in Victoria and found this business to be our sanctuary.

Baguette was very thin and dried quick. Blueberry pie had not much fruit in it and was like half empty in the crust. Didn’t have a huge selection of options. If you need to eat GF this is an okay option.

This place is great, and super conscientious about dietary issues. Not only are they 100% GF, but they also make a lot of things that are also DF, NF.

Pretty good as far as gluten free goes, but they use oats in almost everything, and for the 10% of celiacs who can't digest oats, it's not great.
WONDERFUL! I can't say enough good things! Only disappointment is they're closed on Mondays.

Wonderful bread
Such delicious treats! From standard bread loaves to parfaits, baguettes and foccacia to cupcakes and sugar cookies. Delicious at every bite. Get there early! by afternoon most itms are sold out!
Delicious dairy free and gluten free options. Their hamburger buns are the best.
This is by far the BEST gluten-free place in Victoria.
