Osawa Japanese Bistro

Restaurants was polite and I was told the food could be made gluten free. We ordered take out and when people it up we double checked that it was gluten free. The items were even labeled as "gf." The food tasted good, but about 70 minutes later I was experiencing very very bad symptoms and had cleared been glutened. I am very thankful I was at home and not elsewhere. Might be safe for people with gluten sensitivity but NOT Celiac safe.

Lots of gluten-free sushi options, they'll provide GF soy sauce. Also have several rice noodle dishes. All the food is great and I come here a lot. They have a GF menu you can ask for.

Staff careful about contamination. Order labeled GF, staff confirms GF when pick up. Most sushi can be made GF, with Gf soy sauce.

I get sushi from here a few times a month, and they always label the takeout bags with gluten free. Also their angel rice noodles are gluten free. Everything is super fresh and tasty!!
