Very good food and a waitress that seem to knew their stuff. Told me which sauce I could eat and not.

Very cool place, great ambience. Not the safest location for Celiacs. They have a small kitchen so cross contamination is likely regardless of precautions. Would only recommend for Celiacs that like taking risks.

I don’t recommend eating here if you’re a celiac. I used my Nima to test a gluten free penne bolognese dish as well as a simple salad with grilled chicken and both came back with gluten found. Even the waitress said that there’s a lot of flour in the air there.

The 2 existing reviews for this restaurant are contradictory. Do they have gluten-free or don't they? I declined to go until a friend confirmed that they do indeed have gluten-free pasta. Absolutely. I had a great meal of salad, gluten-free pasta, and gelato for dessert.

The staff is very aware of gluten-free needs, and they were knowledgeable and helpful. Osteria La Buca is now on my short list of restaurants for when I visit LA.

Note that just down the street there is another restaurant with a similar name. I have no idea about that place. Maybe that's where the confusion comes from. Make sure you go to Osteria La Buca. Great place, friendly people, outstanding food and service.

I came to this restaurant simply because I saw it on this ap with a good review. The waiter had no clue about a dedicated kitchen space not what hluten free even meant. He said someone must have confused this restaurant with another restaurant when they wrote their review.

Amazing GF pasta!!! Great service and dinner finished with a comp homemade limoncello shot...awesome experience!!
