At first the waiter had me a little worried because he was very unprofessional and was forgetting peoples drink orders. I told him about my gluten sensitivity and he didn’t not immediately know what was gluten free on the menu. I placed an order and told him to check with the kitchen to ensure it was safe for me to eat. He came back and told me that none of their sushi rolls were safe because their sushi rice has gluten in it because of the type of vinegar they use. I instead ordered sashimi and plain white rice to eat. I enjoy sashimi so this didn’t bother me too much but don’t go here if you want to have sushi rolls made with rice because the entire list of sushi rolls are off limits due to their sushi rice. I have never experienced this at another sushi restaurant before. Most use a non-gluten vinegar in their rice. On the plus side they do carry the gluten free tamari soy sauce.
