Normally I would trust an Outback, but felt that it was important for us to share our experience at this location since I noticed there aren’t many recent reviews. They do have a gluten free menu, and I have eaten at other locations and felt safe, but unfortunately we got extremely sick here. We told the waiter we had a gluten allergy and she was very nice and accommodating making sure that it was written down for the chef. They brought out our food separately, so it felt like it was going to be okay. I ordered the chicken with mashed potatoes, and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp and steak and mashed potatoes, all on the gluten free menu they provided us. Then, my boyfriend’s shrimp comes out on an entire slice of bread. My boyfriend doesn’t have celiac, but is very much intolerant and I have celiac so he has to be careful about what he eats. We personally had a really bad experience here with them handling our allergies, which is sad because I do feel like it could’ve been great. We both got very sick. I wanted to share this just in case anyone was in the area and relying on this information to choose to go to Outback - I’m not saying it will always be bad, but we had a very bad experience and hope to help someone else out there!
