Review of Outback Steakhouse

Terrible, terrible terrible. The staff were totally unfamiliar with the gluten free menu and generally frazzled.

Read the gf menu carefully; the menu lists the normal dishes with suggestions underneath that would make them gluten free (ie order without bun). I got a burger without a bun with a baked potato on the side instead of fries (as suggested). They brought me the burger alone with the bun, and when I asked if it was a gluten free bun, they apologized and said they would fix it. They brought it back bun-less, without the cheese, with fries. Then I had to wait again for them to nix the fries and get a potato. This was honestly ridiculous for a place that advertises a gluten free menu, more of what I would expect from an establishment totally unfamiliar with catering to food allergies.
