I have always loved Ox & Stone. you can definitely find some options. But i am so disappointed that they have decided that safe GF fried food is not a priority to them. They’ve really let our community down. when you are a place that’s known to have a separate GF fryer and you advertise that , and have a GF menu, it’s pretty cold to just ditch that model and say f you to GF people who have eaten there for years. We’ve been loyal customers for years but apparently that’s not enough. i’m VERY disappointed they also didn’t advertise it and announce it right away and caused my cousin to each chips from a shared fryer. we trusted this restaurant for years. Not anymore

I would recommend this place! Not only is the food unbelievably good, but the wait staff are very knowledgeable (the menu is not marked). They use a lot of masa flour in their dishes which allows gluten avoiders to have almost anything (besides pasta and the unavoidable). Just ask your waiter and you should be good.

Emailed them beforehand asking about options and they named a few and said my server could help day of. When we went the server was quick to point out the options and knowledgeable. Felt comfortable eating and the food was great. Best part was no reaction afterwards!

UPDATE: the fryer is no longer safe. The menu is also no longer labeled. However, most of the menu remains GF. Questions, fried things, and battered cod is not safe. Ask the waiter or waitress for guidance. Still delicious, bummed about the chips.

Many gluten free items on the menu and the waiter was very knowledgeable about what was gluten free including the daily specials. Chips were also gluten free. I have celiacs and didn’t have any issues eating here. I would definitely recommend it.

This is one of my favorite restaurants ! Most of the menu is GF! I I have celiac and I have never had an issue. Very knowledgeable staff .

Server had excellent knowledge of what's GF on the menu and brought me some tortilla chips that were not deep-fried so that I could have chips and guac. Many of the menu items are naturally GF.
