Sometimes have GF options on the hot bar and sometimes don’t. Salad bar is always there though. Salad dressings are not labeled with ingredients so I always just use the vinegar/oil. Have to read all ingredients on hot food and if not labeled properly or unclear I opt out. Tasty but I do wish everything was labeled better.
I absolutely love the co-op, their great gluten free packaged foods and incredibly helpful staff. However, their prepared foods at the food bar are not safe for celiacs. They have "wheat free" options but give a heavy warning about cross contamination. This is similar to Whole Foods (don't shop there! Go to the co-op! I only mention it to acknowledge that it isn't unusual that the food bar can't accommodate celiacs.) If they had celiac friendly prepared options I would give 5 stars.
I thought the veggie sushi from their food bar was fantastic. This is a grocery store, however. So if you want a place to eat out, don't be confused. they do have a prepared food bar. it's small. it's salad sushi and gluten full foods. the grocery store itself is great!!
Good GF options like GF treats at deli, Udi's bread, Bob's GF flours and mixes, frozen goods. The GF brownie was delicious!!
