Pretty disappointing. Server was vastly unknowledgeable as well as unhelpful when I was asking questions about the menu. She wouldn’t go ask the kitchen questions and when I ordered the plain grilled grouper and did the whole talk about “clean pan, new gloves” she said blankly “it’s made on a shared grill. They aren’t going to replace the grill for you.” I said “I’m not asking for that, I only want it made in a clean pan, not a shared grill.” It arrived completely unseasoned- not even salt and pepper. I used the lemon from my water for an inkling of flavor. $35 for the plate and I ended up eating another meal as soon as I got home to feel full!

I spoke with the manager, Debbie, when I arrived. She shared that whatever I ordered would be cooked in a fresh pan so that it was on a clean surface and isolated. She told me to let my server know to see her when putting my order in - Debbie would then follow my order through to ensure its safety. When I ordered I told the server this and she already knew I was the person with Celiac (I was in a group of 60). Debbie came to check to see if I had ordered because the server hadn’t spoken with her (only because the server hadn’t yet put in the order). Debbie found our server and my order, put it in, and followed it as it was prepared. She then personally delivered it to me. It was great! Because it was lunch I kept it simple - house salad (greens, artichoke hearts, pimentos, red onions) with shrimp. It was delicious! I will return and will always ask to see the manager prior to being seated. Debbie did an amazing job of assuring safe eating for me!

The owner is very knowledgeable about how to prepare a gluten free meal that is safe for celiacs. If you eat here, speak to her and she will make sure your food is prepared properly. She also does make rounds going to visit guests at their tables to make sure everything is ok. Excellent atmosphere. Live music with space to dance. On the water and great view.

Had the steak and lobster tail, mashed potatoes and zucchini. Delish! And the blue pina colada drink!

Saw the reviews on the app and was excited to try while on vacation. Saw the gluten free menu here on app. Went to restaurant asked for a gluten free menu and the waitress had this look in her face. She said they no longer had a gluten free menu. I had seen in the copy that was posted they offer guacamole and chips and said I would take an order of that. She proceeded to tell me since Covid they no longer carry that. I asked what they did have and she was very uneasy. She proceeded to get another waitress who was more knowledgeable but their gluten free menu is now very limited. Service leaves a lot to be desired!! Not much follow up even if they did offer a larger selection of gf food wouldn’t go back as their service wasn’t good!

This place is great! They have a separate gluten free menu that has quite a few options. Been here several times and have never gotten sick. They understand allergies really well and was able to tell me exactly what was in their gluten free brownie just to make sure there was no ingredients I would react to. Will definitely be going back.

We had a great experience at Ozona Blue. The portions are huge (consider sharing) but without being overly expensive or sacrificing quality. Very allergy aware.

Server Todd was very knowledgeable about Celiac. They have a dedicated gluten free menu and dedicated fryer for fries. They have steak, chicken, pastas, burgers and a brownie icecream and cookie with icecream dessert which they know exactly what’s in it.

Definitely not celiac friendly! Waitress suggested pasta, and manager was too busy to come to the table to help. Skip this place!

Ozona blue provides some gluten free options as they are serving primarily fresh seafood. You have to ask the server about them and if anything track down the owner as she is always around and knowledgable on the options and will take your order as well.
