You know I didn’t end up eating the food so I cannot say if it is safe or not, but I can tell you I was uncomfortable enough that I thought I would get sick so I ended up not eating at all. I ordered my meal, and as another review said the fries were gluten free I asked the cashier. She told me they weren’t, but I was like okay good to know, no fries then. Their burgers used Audi’s buns and when I got it I could tell it wasn’t Udi’s. It was the wrong color, texture, and the biggest factor is that it was the wrong size (it was huge like my non-gf friends burgers). So I went to the front and was like hey I ordered gluten free and the cashier assured me it was. But I’ve had celiacs for almost a decade and have had Udis buns probably hundreds of times by now, I know for a fact it wasn’t. So she asked for a new bun, and I could see they were putting the patty from the old bun on the new one, and thus it would be contaminated. I also saw that they put the new bun in the toaster with all the other buns and knew that would be a source of contamination, so I just asked for a refund and thankfully they gave it to me easily. Don’t get me wrong the food looked good, but I just felt for someone with celiacs it was too unsafe. I don’t think they were intentionally trying to hurt me or anything, just that they didn’t understand how serious it is.
