Palio's Pizza Cafe On Tap

Traveling through Fort Worth on 35W. Used the online app to order about 20 minutes ahead of arrival and the timing was perfect. Risked Palio’s and it was worth it. Yummy GF pizza! No reaction. Heads up, though, it’s not “inherently flavorful.” That is to say, most of the flavor comes from the toppings.

We ordered three pizzas: the king, a half sausage and half pepperoni, and the hambino. The sausage and the pepperoni were kinda flat and not too flavorful - but that was perfect for our child. The hambino was better. The king was, well, king. Basically, it’s a “supreme” pizza. It was fantastic!

I suspect that the gluten crust has a lot more flavor - like, crusty and buttery flavors. Fantastic stop. Highly recommend!

I have been here a few times and absolutely love it. I am gluten and dairy free so this is one of the few pizza places that can accommodate both. I am not a celiac so not sure about contamination but the gluten free pizza is SO good.
