Palio's Pizza Cafe

Have to be very clear that you have an allergy and ask the manager for you order to be handled seperately. Asking at the register apparently isnt enough. We've had trouble with orders and have been sick the last few times. We no longer go here due to these issues.

I love their gluten free pizza crust!

Waitress assured me of no cross contamination. She was very helpful and explained to me that her daughter had celiac.

We ordered the gluten free pizza and we think they slid it into the oven on a contaminated paddle or had flour somewhere else that it touched. intestinal pain started within 30 minutes of leaving and we ate nothing else. the pizza crust did seem to be gluten free, but they do not appear to understand the needs of celiacs.

Seriously the best pizza I've ever had! Gluten free option in small (10") and large. I built my own pizza with chicken, mushroom, spinach, artichoke, oregano pesto, and cheddar cheese. So good!
