Unfortunately it was immediately obvious the server had no experience or knowledge of celiac protocol. My steak was terrific as was my salad and potato. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and our server surprised us with a brownie, not gluten-free. Yes, I’ll go back, but again I feel I will have to ask a lot of questions and educate as we go.

We’ve eaten here twice recently. It’s a bit of a gamble. Our first waitress was fantastic and knew everything we could/could not have. The second waitress told us it wasn’t very safe, it’s a shared kitchen, she didn’t really know what was/wasn’t safe. With all that said, the steak was amazing, both times!
Knowledgeable staff about GF concerns. Many options. I’ve had 4-5 very nice experiences here as a celiac.

Waiter was told my son had Celiac and cross contamination is a huge issue. Even said it needs to be a separate kitchen for cooking. They said yes and he totally understood. Well it’s not and my son got very sick before even leaving. He was sick for 3 days because of this. The owners gave sad apology followed by the word BUT our wait staff would never say that because they are trained on this. I would go there at least once a month, not any longer. I also always recommended it for all. I tell anyone I can my story. I didn’t want a free meal and didn’t get one which was fine. It was the principle of how they said sorry BUT.
