My mom and I were very excited to try out Pancake Cottage. We were spending the day at Avalon and unfortunately wanting to try their gluten-free pancakes ate up a good chunk of our day. We got here at 9:45a and there was a 45 minute wait for a table, even though there were plenty of open seats around us. The space smelled of bad B.O., our server wasn’t the most pleasant, and it was over 100 degrees out which made our wait even more miserable. We weren’t served until after 11:30a. The pancakes were good but definitely not worth the wait. The hashbrowns were half cooked. There are other gluten-free breakfast options just across the street. We would not recommend dining here and we don’t plan on stopping by here again should we have another opportunity to visit Avalon.
No separate gluten free menu. No effort to prevent cross contamination. I ordered gluten-free pancakes with hashbrowns. Service was very very slow.
