On a whim, ordered a pancake to takeaway with ham and cheese because the sign said they served gluten free pancakes. They took my order for a gluten free pancake, and a few minutes later the food was handed to me in a flat pizza box labeled gluten free and lactose free.

Had my pancake (fatty, but tasting good) outside, waiting for our scheduled canal-boat trip.

This was Wednesday March 8th at 3 PM.

At 4:30 PM I was feeling sick (I'm celiac) and started vomiting for about an hour. Fortunately the canal-boat trip was over and I was back at the hotel at the time. I had no other food than a few pieces of cheese and red wine after the pancake. The pattern of feeling sick about an hour and a half after ingesting gluten is typical on my behalf. Clearly this place managed to mix up my order with someone else's and did not have the required control.

Needless to say, this ruined the rest of my day.
