Amazing classic Roman restaurant with a basement that dates back to Caesar. Literally.
We ordered the classics - carbonara and caccio e pepe and they were right on target. Simple and tasty from an experienced kitchen. The pasta felt homemade to me and was indecipherable from gluten pasta to my taste. Great place and the table wine was terrific as well. Service is old school Roman - no fuss, been doing this for years approach - but certainly nonplussed by the GF request and we’re very clear about what was what.
