Panda Chinese Kitchen

I am new to the Wheeling area and wanted to find a Chinese restaurant that offered gluten-free options. When I called Panda, the lady was familiar with some options. I then asked her to read me their soy sauce ingredients to open up further options for me, and it contains "water, salt, vegetable protein, corn syrup, and caramel color" and it's from W.Y Industries, Inc. of New Jersey. I read a forum post that the caramel color is corn-based, not wheat-based (it was an old post, use your own judgement). I took a chance and ordered the tofu and vegetable meal, and it was just as I wanted. A nice thick, soy-based sauce and lots of tofu and veggies. I did not have any side effects at all. Very happy.
