It was good, tasty food. It was really nice to walk into a restaurant and not worry about what’s on the menu! The only thing I have to say is that it’s not price friendly for more than two people. I went with my mom and two of my siblings and spent almost a hundred dollars. There wasn’t much food in the portions either, so I don’t think it was worth it for my family and I to spend that much and not even get much food.

Everything that we got was SO good! Amazing olive burger, fried chicken sandwich, Mac, mozzarella sticks! Always great to be able to just order and not have to think about if it’s safe or not. Will definitely return when we are in the area again!

Do you miss classic American-style fried food as much as I do? If so, Papa Chops is the answer.

I walked in expecting some decent options and walked out full from the burger and onion rings. I have since been back multiple times and will be in the future.

It is a dedicated gluten free facility.

My only complaint is that some options are a tad expensive, but I'm more than willing to pay it for the safety factor.

Food was delicious! Wish there was something like this closer to my house. I seriously wanted to get so many items. Chicken stips were legit and the fried pickels....amazing!

We cannot say enough good things about Papa Chops! The entire place is gluten free and we ate there multiple times while on vacation! The owner is a fellow celiac and provides an amazing atmosphere and absolutely delicious food! We tried majority of the menu and it was like each new item was better than the last! You need to eat here! You won’t be disappointed!

This is the best place in Grand Rapids. 100% gluten free and celiac safe. Very knowledgeable staff about gluten and other allergies even uncommon ones. This is a must have in the gluten free community.

Everything is so delicious that I'll drive an hour for lunch! There is no gluten on the property and precious little of other allergens.

We have been here twice now and both times it was so good. I got the chicken sandwich and it tastes so good. Fries are amazing too. Wish we lived closer so I could come here more often. 10/10 would recommend!

Never disappointed when we eat here…gets better every time! Chicken strips, onions rings, mozz sticks, fish sandwich, and the best broccoli soup I’ve tasted. We make the 2 1/2ish hour drive just for this food. 😁

The owner is so kind! His team has great service and the food is 10/10. I always make sure to come when I’m in town! Gluten eating boyfriend gives it 9/10 for taste. The fries are a must have, the seasoning on them is so good!!

SOOO good and the staff is incredibly friendly! My family (non celiacs) went with me and also LOVED the food. Definitely worth every penny to have food that I can’t find other places. The Caesar wrap, fries, mozzarella sticks, etc. Soooooo amazing!!

The owner was sweet as could be. This place is 100% gluten free! Most options you could also do dairy free. The menu was fantastic and all of the options we tried were great. The soup was good, the burger was good, the poutine was the best. Definitely a new staple spot for the next time we are in town.

I ordered a burger that is like a Big Mac and got tears on my eyes - it was so good and I have so missed being able to have a Big Mac! The onion rings were so delicious - a huge treat to be able to have those. I wish I’d been hungry enough to get mozzarella sticks too. The Kind Crumbs frosted sugar cookie was soooo good. I wish we had a restaurant like this in the Detroit area. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town!

Wonderful options! Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. Loved being able to enjoy indulgences that you can’t find elsewhere else like onion rings, mozzarella sticks & fried fish! And the Mac & Cheese is out of this world. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.

We had their burgers and french fries. Everything is completely gf with many menu items to select from and service was fantastic. Absolutely delicious! We will be back.

O.M.Geeeee this place is fabulous, fantastic, and I went a little crazy! Mozzarella sticks, Pot Roast Poppers, Fries and Quesadillas were wonderful! Thankful I had a friend to share it with and I’ll be back to try the Mac-n-Cheese and Burgers! Can’t recommend it enough! Hours are 11am-8pm with a shorter time on Saturday.

I was so excited to find this place!! Cheese sticks are huge and delicious. Even my husband, who is not gf, thought they were great. The bun on the burger was also great. I hate how gf buns tend to fall apart or they are twice the size of a regular bun, this was neither. It held together, it was a good size and tasted like a regular bun!! I highly recommend this place!! I’ll be back!

Awesome food! My wife is celiac so we were excited but also ordered takeout for my non-GF family. They loved the poutine, chicken sandwich especially but everything we had was awesome! Very safe, highly recommend!

This place is definitely worth a visit. The food is amazingly good. The onion rings are a must try - I cannot recommend them enough. I also had the blue gill sandwich, classic chicken sandwich and fries - all delicious! They have so many options: sandwiches, salads, pizzas, burgers, sides, etc. Dedicated gluten free facility which is wonderful. It's hard to find gluten free food establishments that create such great food and you are assured no cross contamination. Highly recommended.

They have so many options! I got a fried chicken sandwich and a side of onion rings. The chicken was juicy and the breading was flavorful. The bun also didn’t crumble as soon as you picked it up! The onion rings weren’t my favorite but a very tasty gf option and I’d get them again. We talked to the owner and learned about his celiac journey. He was a very nice guy with lots of love for what he does!
