Food was fine (airport food). Waitress was amazing and super helpful with what I could and shouldn’t eat. Ones about celiac and discussed CC with their chips!

GF menu is not safe. Shared fryer, soy sauce marinated beef on GF menu. However, the staff was attentive and knowledgeable, with the manager coming out to steer me clear of unsafe items. Eating here currently so we’ll see how it goes!
— Separate gluten-free menu
Even the cheese has gluten. Mexican restaurants are usually a safe haven and this place is a nightmare. Why would you ever add gluten to cheese?! So unnecessary

I requested the gluten free menu which was small but decent selection. I Ordered the Chicken Fajitas and asked that my order be flagged celiac for the kitchen. Food came out looked ok and I double checked with the server to ensure corn tortillas and she assured me they were. THEY WERE NOT I unwrapped them and they were flour and coated in loose flour which got all over my hands and my meal. I told the waiter and he said sorry and exchanged the tortillas for corn but did nothing about the rest of my meal. I rarely give poor reviews about restaurants as I know it's a hard business but now I'm home and I'm sick. I am very unhappy.

I was provided with a gluten free menu on request with a small but tasty choice of menu items. The waiter was familiar with Celiac and there are clearly kitchen protocols in place that work. When my meal was delivered, the server confirmed it was GF without being asked. I had the chicken enchiladas which were surprisingly good for an airport restaurant.

Had the chicken fajitas. Kitchen seemed knowledgeable and had cc protocols though I couldn’t believe how fast it came out for something that required separate preparation. Felt fine afterwards though so they must have followed their cross contamination protocols.
Overly expensive for what you get, but nice to have a GF option.

Pappasito’s is so delicious. The chicken is so moist and tender. I got the chicken enchiladas. They also have a 5 minute quick order and pick up window in the Dallas airport near concourse A gate 28. Do not get the chips. They do not have a designated fryer. #celiac

Very safe gf airport food that I never worry about. The chicken fajitas are my favorite. Chips are fried in the same fryer as gluten items so don’t get those.

The waitress was very knowledgeable about celiacs and high sensitivity issues. Separate menu, any cross contamination potential she was aware of and told me of potentials before I even asked!

Solid airport food for someone with Celiac. Cashier was healthful - ensured My order was gluten free. Had soft corn tacos. Actually, she pointed out that the fajita steak was not gluten free and recommended the fajita chicken instead. Airport eating is hard. This place I feel pretty good about.

I have always had a lot of luck with Pappasito’s. I have eaten in a few locations and the quality is very consistent. The server here took great care of me and I love that the food comes out flagged GF.

Had to wait 10 minutes for them to find the gluten free menu. They swore all the GF items were all pre-made and they were safe. Food tasted very bland and I was instantly sick afterwards and had a terrible reaction. Not the most ideal experience when flying cross country.

Overall great experience. Waiter returned to my tabke after ordering asking if I was also allergic to tomatoes or cheese. So I'd say they are knowledgeable. Great stop.

i went here because of all the good reviews and the separate gluten free menu. BE CAREFUL!!!! the menu says corn tortillas come with the taco platter, but mine came with flour and i didn’t realize it was flour until i was almost done. very upset i got flour when it clearly says corn tortillas.

I was excited to try this after reading reviews, but they have zero options that are gluten and dairy free. Their steak contains gluten and their chicken is sautéed in butter. Their chips are also cross contaminated in the fryer. I couldn’t eat anything here.

I was so happy to see that a restaurant at the airport had gf options!!!! The chicken fajitas were fantastic, as were the margaritas. I joked to my bf that I might need to fly to Dallas again soon! Loved it, and felt great afterwards : )

So happy to have found a safe place to eat in an airport! I am usually stuck eating the snacks I pack while my family gets to eat real food. The staff took my requests very seriously, and the kitchen manager came out to speak to me about their precautions. He knew about this app and said they work very hard to keep their good reviews. The food was delicious and I felt very confident.

I let them know I had allergies, so the manager came out to discuss what they were doing to accommodate my meat, shellfish, and gluten issues, which foods they were substituting like american cheese and refried beans etc.. amazing and kind and super caring!! I never review but these guys were so great

The server apologized that the food took longer (which it really didn't) because they wanted to make sure it was gluten free. They took my need to be gluten free seriously. It was nice to feel safe eating while traveling though DFW.

I ordered chicken enchiladas based on other reviews and they were excellent! Though you can’t eat the chips and salsa, the enchiladas with rice and beans were perfect. Other options were chicken fajitas and salads.

Our waiter ensured the grill would be decontaminated and the kitchen staff would change their gloves. The manager came and spoke to me about their protocols to reduce cross-contamination. They also have a separate gluten free menu.
I used my Nima sensor to test the food (fish tacos) for gluten and it all came back negative!

A big hot plate of enchiladas rice and beans that came out with a GF toothpick marking the plate...in an airport?!? Yes please. Hope this chain can grow. Yes, you can’t eat the chips but don’t skip it for that reason. Get the enchiladas!
Yes
Has a gluten free menu. Chips were not gluten free. Only taco shell option was soft corn, not hard shells. Server was not knowledgeable but went back to get the answers to my questions.
GF menu. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Larry or waiter was great told me chips are cross contaminated as they are fried in the same fryer as gluten items, so no chips and salsa here that’s why the four star. Larry seemed confident in all other items being safe.
Yes
My celiac daughter ate lunch today with no issues. The server was knowledgeable when i asked if chips were safe to eat. They are NOT. He said they were fried with other items so not safe. The gluten free menu was easy to read and the dish came out of kitchen marked “gluten free”. I wish they did what other restaurants do and fry chips first thing in morning and save for celiacs!
Yes
Chips not GF. All manager offered me was fish... In an airport. Employee not knowledgeable, asked if I wanted it fried.
Haven't gotten sick though!
Have angry orchard, tho so that's something
Staff was great. Had a gluten free menu with usual disclaimer. Tacos came out with a tag that said prepared gluten free. After eating the tacos, I was very sick. Won’t be eating here again.

at gate c19 was able to have the steak fajitas no seasonings chef came out and spoke to me very good. this is the Mexican cantina
There is a to-go window if you need to pick up something quickly and they are pretty good about fixing it fast. This is my go-to place at DFW. The sky tram makes it easy to get to this terminal fairly fast so I normally go here from all other terminals instead of trying to figure out something closer to my actual gate.
when flying restaraunts are often a hit or a miss. all I asked for is that I not be sick after eating. chicken fajitas with corn tortillas fit the bill.
tasted great, filled me up, now on to the next airport!
very fast and excellent service! Good was very good. HE menu that had about 12 options on it.
Very limited gluten free menu. Neither the chips nor the fajita meat are gluten free. Gluten free options include tacos and chicken on corn tortillas. Disappointed in the gluten Free Tex-Mex options.
I am pretty sensitive to gluten/dairy, and eat here an got sick.
Very Knowledgeable staff. Sat at the bar, ordered off of the gf menu. Extremely fast service. I will be back when next at DFW.
My daughter and I have Celiac. We split the tacos with rice and beans. Very good and did not get sick.

Amazing for an airport terminal. Ordered a beef and chicken taco off the GF menu. Their fire roasted salsa was awesome! Manager came to table to assure me my meal would be GF.

I have celiac but do not show symptoms so cannot speak to that but they have a GF menu & kitchen manager Alonzo came out to discuss the safe prep practice. He made a recommendation for items that do not come in contact with gluten & their process for safely preparing items that do. I felt comfortable after reading recent reviews & speaking to the well informed manager.

Seperate GF menu and knowledgeable wait staff. Plate came out with a GF marker so I knew I had the right plate of food. Large Portions and good food. Better than expected for an airport.
Yes
Great food and big portions. Waiter was knowledgeable on the gf menu and offered to do a sampler if desired. Went with 1 beef and 1 chicken taco with rice and beans and was filled up. Great option for airport food.
Yes
Best Mexican food I have ever had. Limited gluten free menu, but I had the chicken tinga tacos and they were amazing. The manager came out to chat with us after placing our order and the food was ready in <10 minutes. Perfect place to stop in DFW.

The food was good enough, met my expectations for airport food. Thankful for Celiac-safe food during a very long day of travel. Customer service was so great, manager came over and confirmed food handling procedures. Made me feel I was in good hands.

Excellent friendly service very fast and incredibly tasty. Would be back for sure. Very nice ambience with Mexican music. Love their beef enchiladas. Meal and tip cost me $22.
Yes
have a GF menu. staff asked about vegis that I wanted chef cleared them as GF. great taste!!
Great service and the manager came out to assure me everything was done correctly for no cross contamination. It is in the airport so not giving it 5 stars for flavor but 5 stars for awareness. I will update after I have the meal and I am not affected.
staff was very attentive to our gluten concerns. food was delicious.
