No idea about taste because it was definitely not celiac safe. Stopped in to ask about their gf options (it seems like there are a few options available) and the cashier said that they bake on a different pan but that is about it.

The non-gluten-free part of the family thought their cookies were okay but a bit too sweet.

It's sort of unique, but not much flavor in some of their ice creams. Wish I had read this first cause they all come with regular cookies! It was busy so I just left and scraped it off. Other places offer more for the same/less cost.

Extremely delicious sorbet! I was thrilled to find GF/DF options (6 flavors of sorbets). I didn't try the pastries. Warning - they automatically put a cookie (not GF) in your ice cream. The first time I went, I asked about gluten & dairy, & they automatically kept off the cookie, which was terrific! The second time I forgot. I have to say, they handled it beautifully! Quickly replaced my sorbet & even have the cookie cup to the people with me. If I lived in Aspen, I'd go here all the time!

Started working in the area in October it has been hard to find somewhere to eat with good gluten free options. I was so excited to find out Local Oven was now being served. Be cautious when ordering a sandwich. This location pre-makes some of their sandwiches and when I ordered one she immediately took the toppings of one of the pre-made sandwiches from regular bread and placed it in gluten free bread. Make sure you let them know it is an allergy if that is the case.

Stopped by today for lunch with my celiac daughter. Signage all over about their gluten free options breads, sweets, etc. A chalk board with gf specialties (bread croutons, brownies cheesecake). Literally signs ALL over! I spent a great deal of time in line figuring out what she can have, what her siblings want and what I will have. Order and find out they don't actually have any gluten free bread today. What?! Ok. Can we just get scrambled eggs? No, they don't serve that after 1030. I'm grateful for gf sweets always but when you make a point to sell yourself as something you're not. I've had a sports bar be more accommodating. Takes the signs down. We walked out. I felt duped.

I am a long time fan of Local Oven so I was thrilled to see signs displayed that their products are being served here. The bagel is becoming a staple in my breakfast and I just tried the brownie today...so good.

Staff here is awesome, taking care to avoid cross-contamination (though as always with a traditional bakery there are no guarantees), ie using separate toaster.

Will definitely be a regular stop for me.
