I used to come here year ago. Im embarrassed for them as how oblivious they are towards celiac. The waitress warned me, but all of this is lame :

Drinks served with a pasta straw . Wtf Rice is soaked in something w gluten. Not necessary! Fries have a beer batter on them. Why?

This place is full of tourists and an hour from LA , it’s shocking how their menu has so much gluten .

Very nice view that is all… “If you are allergic you can’t have anything” was the answer. They have no idea about gluten free.

Called ahead to confirm they could accommodate allergies and make gf options in a clean area. When we got there they said they could not.

No gluten free notations we’re anywhere on the menu. Server didn’t seem to really care to go ask the chef. He just kept naming off gluten free items, with not a lot of confidence. I ordered the taco plate which didn’t make me sick thankfully. He said the rice wasn’t gf on that plate, so he left that off…maybe it was rice pilaf or he had no idea what he was talking about. Oh and btw!!…all straws are made from pasta noodles!!! Be careful of that! Not a super safe place to eat, but it can be done with caution! Beautiful view though!!!!

I used to go here before I was diagnosed with celiac. It’s a wonderful location and you can walk on the beach before or after eating.

Sadly, I called since my diagnosis and they couldn’t tell me anything gluten free that I could safely eat there, so I guess I can’t go there anymore.

After looking at the menu and being unsure if any GF options, I called ahead to ask if there was anything GF available. The hostess said No -- just the salad bar. Apparently the grill is contaminated so all burgers, seafood etc is not GF. They did not seem to care enough to cater to anyone needing GF. If you go here, stick to the drinks or the salad bar (which isn't that great).
