The quality of food is ok at best. The server ended up serving me a gluten free meal, but the wrong kind (shrimp instead of salmon) which contained another allergen I informed her I needed to avoid. Because of this, I would say probably not Celiac friendly--- too high a risk of mistakes. So, as is incredibly common in this area, my husband and I ate our meals separately. Decent options/choices for GF, but mediocre food and service at best.

I love this place. Can't say enough about how impressed I am with their gf options. The lentil soup, quinoa cake, lamb, and beet&kale salad are my go to's. I'm celiac and have never had a reaction here.

Well marked menu for gluten free, vegetarian. We had takeout courtesy of a friend so I dont know about server education. Food was outstanding! Chicken with spinach and jasmine rice, really bountiful flavor without any sauce. The jalepeno tomatoe sause complemented nicely and was deep and multidimensional. The beet, kale salad is not to be missed! Elegently simple, nutritious and filling. The quinoa cake alone, could have satisfied my husbands palate. He enjoyed the texture and spices. The imported black olives from Turkey were a vacation in themselves. They offer a bunch of choices no matter what you are or arent eating. The space is visually and energetically appealing. They also have a banquet or catering space as they called it that is great for events. Made from scratch goodness! Its such a treat when you can enjoyitfor a reasonable price. We will return when we are in the area. 2 hours later! No tummy ache! The true test!!

Ok meal. After asking for gluten free menu and asking about gf options we shared a meal of skewers. Suppose to be 8 but was only 7. The food came out all on one plate, even gluten pasta. Dipping sauces were not gluten free either.

If meal was gluten free as desired and was the correct amount I would rate higher.

I just finished brunch. The server was attentive and made sure my food was satisfactory. There are many gf choices as well as vegan, which helps me since I am also dairy free. The atmosphere was pleasant. I will come here whenever I am Norfolk.

This restaurant far exceeded my expectations. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere delightful, warm and inviting, and the food was simply to die for. As far as gluten free goes, they offered many options, as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes, and what the meals lacked in gluten, surely was made up in flavor. I would highly recommend this restaurant, to those with special diet needs or otherwise.

Wonderful! Gluten free options on menu...very knowledgeable. Absolutely a gem in Norfolk! Great hummus! GF bread and wraps available.

Well written menu with many gf and vegetarian items. The staff was knowledgeable in the preparation of the menu items. The lunch was excellent and the atmosphere of the place is very relaxed. As I am not gluten intolerant, I can't speak to how gf the gf menu items actually were.
