Pear Tree Café

I had read about Pear Tree via this app. Checked out their website and Facebook. But the clincher was a coeliac friend recommending Pear Tree for a safe Gluten Free snack or meal.

There are menus on tables, but go the till and ask for a gluten free menu. There is a great selection of snacks, main meals and desserts to choose from.

There is a separate area In kitchen, exclusively for gluten free food. Separate toaster, fryer etc.

A member of staff, who is a coeliac too, came out and had a quick chat about the menu.

and also came out after I had eaten to see what I thought of the meal. We had a long chat about the meal, being diagnosed etc.

I was so grateful to find another place I felt truly safe and comfortable eating.

Pear Tree Cafe is within Ashton Garden centre. Dedicated fryer. Reasonable number of GF items. Friendly & helpful staff. Ask for a GF menu at the till.
