CELIACS BEWARE! After being assured that they’d cook my gf crepe on a machine that hadn’t been cooked on yet today, they cooked it on the regular surfaces. Why, you ask? Because the a-hole cook “hates that batter” as he said loudly while throwing the utensils into the sink. Thanks, buddy, but now I need to let everyone know you don’t give a rat’s a** about anyone who has issues with gluten. Peace out- never coming back & repeating this review on Yelp.

Staff do a great job and they cook the gf crepes In the back in a dedicated space on gf only equipment. However there is flour in the air so risk of cross contamination. I have not gotten sick after eating here. They have even made up gf batter for me when thrydidn’t have any when I stopped in. Everything is absolutely delicious!!

Edit: not celiac safe. Flour contamination everywhere. Both locations. I spoke with the owner who was great. But even they can’t make it in a separate non flour area.

Very small place, 3 indoor tables and a bar. But when asked how severe my gluten allergy is he didn't blink when I said I have Celiac. They cook it in the back on a separate griddle. Really good crepes.

The staff here is so amazing!! I went today and they said they did not have any gluten free mix made but it was no problem for them to make some for me. They are so careful when it comes to customers being celiac and are very willing to accommodate. I’ve gone a couple times and each time it has been great!

Stopped by for lunch during parent weekend at HPU and was made aware that they didn’t have any gluten free mix made up. I feel that if you are offering these options, it should be made available. The place wasn’t crowded and there was no attempt to make a “batch”. Promptly left and probably won’t give it another try.

Delicious GF and DF crepes, that does not compromise taste. I had the kitchen sink (minus the cheese and two spreads that contain cheese) and it was still super tasty. The lemon and poppyseed crepe made a perfect desert. Well worth the visit ... coffee was good too :)

So glad to find a good gf breakfast! I couldn't believe it was gf, these crepes were soooo tastey! I had the kitchen sink and the original. They prepared the gf batter on a separate grill. I had no reaction! Can't wait to return.

My wife and I were staying at the nearby hospital while in the middle of the adoption process, and we ate here on several occasions. The crepes and coffee were absolutely incredible. Possibly the best cup of coffee I've ever had. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful with each visit. Tremendous service. In addition, they had impressive gluten free options for my wife who has celiac disease. Also took my son's here who have an egg and gluten allergy, and they were happy to accommodate. I cannot recommend this place enough. A true destination, and will stop here whenever we are in the area. Thank you!

Such a great GF find! The manager was so friendly and knowledgeable about their practices to avoid cross contamination. The food was absolutely delicious! We also have an egg allergy in our family and she mentioned they can accommodate vegan GF and egg allergies too!

Such a cute shop with friendly staff! The crepe we got was excellent (fruit spread with chocolate drizzle & whip) and the cost was reasonable. We will be back for a savory crepe next time!

My husband found Penny Path Cafe through Yelp, and after double-checking against this app, we decided to give it a try...and we're happy we did! The crepes are made fresh at the counter -- and we watched them clean the crepe grills and all utensils. They even made a new batch of GF batter because they were not happy with how the crepe was cooking. The ingredients tasted fresh and the portion sizes were huge. We probably could have split a savory and a dessert -- instead of having two savory crepes, leaving no room for dessert. As someone with Celiac Disease, I would say this shop is safe enough for those who battle a true gluten allergy. Delicious and fresh, if you are in the High Point area, it is worth a visit!

Oh my goodness this place is amazing!!!! Crepes are so delectable and no limitations for GF. The owner's daughter has celiac so he's is very familiar and knowledgable. They cleaned the crepe fryer and used clean utensils I will say that if you are extremely sensitive it may not be for you, but this places has the greatest crepes I have ever tasted!!!

Got horribly sick. In retrospect, should not have gone. How could it be possible to get that grill clean enough for a celiac. Don't make same mistake as me!

This is probably the best place in the triad area for someone with celiac disease to eat. The food is excellent and the staff really knows what they're doing. Wish they were in Greensboro; I'd eat there all the time! Call ahead and tell them you're on your way and have celiac disease as a courtesy and for faster service since they do make the gluten free batter only when needed.

Very good food. We had three different savory crepes and the peach desert crepe. All were very good. Owner was especially accommodating and was sure to check if we were celiac and needed grill and tools sanitized first. They made the GF batter fresh for us too.

Fun to have something more unique when on a GF diet, not the standard salad or rice bowl dish.

We have been looking for a gluten free (celiac friendly) breakfast place since we moved to Greensboro over 3 years ago. We found this place this morning and I am so glad that we did! I had the fruit cheese cake crepe and my husband had the kitchen sink crepe. It has to be the best gluten free crepe I have ever had!! Everything was very fresh! The owner and family were very nice and knowledgeable about celiacs, due to one of his daughters being celiac. You know that it's a great place to eat when 2 minutes after opening they are packed.
