The first time I ate there, I ordered pizza which was great and has no issues! However, the second time we went, I ordered GF pasta, which made me feel awful afterwards.

The food and service were great, BUT this was overall a disappointment menu wise. The menu is not at all constructed with celiacs or cross contamination in mind. DO NOT blindly order the GF pizza or pasta. The pizza oven is shared with the normal pizzas. When asking about the pastas, the waiter said “we use pasta water in some of our dishes… so there’s just a little bit of gluten there.” He then said that the kitchen can make things from scratch without, it just may not have the same taste. Their fryer is also not GF, I imagine the calamari which says “GLUTEN-FREE” is from the shared fryer but I didn’t ask. Dishes that appeared to look promising on the menu were also not GF, such as the polenta. This restaurant and menu are so close to being amazing and accommodating for celiacs, but they have chosen to rather work with celiacs giving a limited number of options than make slight changes to their menu/practices and have most of the menu available. Obviously, it’s a business and we’re a small subset of customers so I understand. With all this being said, the waiter, with the help of the kitchen, knew what was GF and what was free of cross contamination. They will work with you to get you a safe and delicious meal, just specify you are not okay with cross contamination. I had the rigonte bolognese, I think the only sub was one of the beefs for bacon and it was still absolutely incredible. I was fully confident it was safe, as well, I just didn’t have many safe options to choose from.

I’ve had the gluten free pizza 3 times and it is some of THE best gf crusts in town! It’s chewy and wood fired, so delicious! I usually just get the margarita pizza, it’s simple yet delicious. I’ve eaten other things on the menu, but honestly, it’s overpriced and only meh…the gf pizza is where it’s at!
