Not ideal to eat a lobster roll in a lettuce wrap (boy did I try to soak up that butter anyway), but it was nice that they did their best to accommodate me. The lobster was yummy!

Very cute atmosphere & extensive seafood choices- the waiter knew exactly what could be made gluten free or altered versus which ones could not be accommodated. I don't think the menu was marked but they knew their stuff. I was there in January so the menu could change seasonally but the potato crusted sea bass was great!

Almost everything is already gluten free or can be modified to be gluten free! The gazpacho topped with crab, BBQ shrimp, crab shrimp & grits, ribeye with bernaise were all to die for!

Perla's makes an amazing GF oyster po-boy (breaded only with corn meal, and w/o bread). Plus they were very accommodating after I made the classic mistake of not telling my server I was celiac and then had to send my first order back to get a GF version. Their drinks were fabulous; they have a great wine list and several perfectly balanced specialty cocktails. We also had raw oysters that were delicate and fresh; they have an impressive variety of oysters from both coasts. I also tried one of their GF desserts: a divine grapefruit panna cotta that was served with wedges of several types of citrus. Overall I would recommend Perla's to anyone - just remember to tell your server about your dietary restrictions :)
