Pho Kim Long Restaurant

The first time we went in the evening and asked if the Pho was gluten free, the 2 people I spoke with on the phone was very knowledgeable and polite and checked the noodles for me. The pho noodles are labeled gluten free on the package so that was awesome. They also said the pho broth along with many other broths does not have soy sauce in it. Not sure about cross contamination. My partner does not worry about cross contamination and so he was able to order the beef pho. The second time we went midday and asked about other items but the lady that was there was not at all knowledgeable and said she couldn’t ask cause the manager and cook was gone and they had thrown out all the packages. So i guess it’s a hit or miss here.

They refused to serve me anything but steamed white rice. They would not even steam vegetables for me. They have many dishes that are traditionally gluten free but they refused to accommodate. Also he was confused vegan with gluten free. I can’t wait to eat somewhere else
