The high rating for this place must be outdated. I'm rating the spenard location. To give them credit, this is a nice dining room, comfortable, with friendly service. And our server was knowledgeable and honest about gluten free options, thankfully. The problem is that there are none. She told me only #106, the steamed vegetables, is GF. Everything else is made with soy sauce. She did indicate that the curries are made with coconut milk and might be GF, and you might have luck with that. I was looking at vegetarian options, and if you're not veg, you might find more to eat on this menu with some probing or negotiating. But if you are looking for GF pho or plentiful GF options, this is not your place.

I do not eat gluten because of an autoimmune disease. I am not celiac. I find their menu very gluten free friendly. All my favorite items are made gluten free. There are plenty of delicious options! Even their wings are coated in rice flour!

This restaurant must have changed management. I used to come here for Pad Thai and other options, but the fresh rolls are the only GF option now. When I asked if there’s soy sauce in the Pad Thai now, they said yes and that it can’t be made without it.

Obsessed with their yellow chicken curry! Hands down the best. Pad Thai is also delicious.

Friendly service! Delicious food! MANY gf options clearly listed on the menu. Even had their soup of the day.

Best Thai in Anchorage and Mat-Su! Amazing yellow curry and Pho.Large selection, fresh ingredients, large portions. Homemade rice noodles. Friendly, helpful staff and willing to substitute for your needs when possible. I live in Eagle River but will only eat Thai at Pho Lena Spenard!

Staff and menu are both helpful in selecting GF options. So much variety and the food is great!

Their menu is clearly labeled as to which items are GF. They have GF curries, pho, spring rolls, and quite a few other items. The online togo menu is not labeled with GF options, but if you call they can look it up for you. In the past I’ve asked for extra veg to be substituted for rice which they were happy to do.
