They have GF cones and label flavors "GF" but they aren't really GF as they said everything is made on shared equipment and they don't take any precautions if you order GF. There's tons of cross contamination as they use the same scoops for gluten and GF icecream and don't offer to take any steps to make it safer.

Was blown away by their gluten free options and protocols for celiacs! And of course, because the owner has celiac they get it. Such an upbeat family joint, with delicious homemade ice cream. And hefty servings at that! A true gem for the community that we will happily be frequenting.

We were so excited to try this ice cream place with our 3 kids, based on the ratings! Unfortunately when we got there, they told us that while they have gluten free cones and certain ice creams marked as gluten free, there is constant cross contamination and they use the same scoops with the gluten ice cream interchangeably. They said it’s not safe for celiacs. We left with very sad children 😕

Stopped in town and happy to find a place that offers gluten free options for my wife. The staff was immediately confident and knowledgeable when we asked about options for her. We both had affogato BUT it felt great to have the option for a GF cone! The theme of cats (and promoting the adoption of them) is also great, and I’m reasonably confident the adopted cats would also understand cross contamination as well as the staff here.

The ice creams and all other items (cookies, cones, etc) are labeled gluten free. The flavors are amazing and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Such a great experience for celiacs and non-celiacs!

The ice cream was so tasty and flavorful! Kids loved it and owner’s wife has celiac so they are very familiar with safety. He knew which ice creams I could order and it was pretty much every thing and even got a GF cone! How wonderful it was to have ice cream with the kids! Can’t wait to come back and try some coffee too!!

I can confirm one of the owners is celiac and takes solid precautions while making the icecream. They are enthusiastic about the icecream and very friendly. There were many flavor options. I love that you can taste the flavors and they taste like what they are. The strawberry tastes like strawberry and the coconut coconut with all natural ingredients. They also use less sugar, which tastes better to me because the flavor is more prominent. I got the affogato with decaf espresso, and it was delicious! I’ll definitely be back!!

One of the owners has celiac disease. They have a few ice creams flavors that are gf and safe for celiac (and delicious). They have a few desserts gf too (that they keep in their individual packaging).

This place is so great! They make all the ice cream in-house and have 6 non-dairy flavors! They have gluten-free cones, as well as gf & vegan whoopie pie-type desserts that are fantastic! I am not a coffee drinker, but J hear they have really great options!

I went to Phoebe’s for coffee, and while checking out saw multiple individually packaged GF and vegan desserts from another small business! The owner said they can’t eat gluten either, so I’m excited to return for coffee and dessert! They do have ice cream flavors that are GF but I didn’t inquire
